SolaDunn in cornrows......my new look!

So after several years, i decided to take the big plunge and weave my hair. For a change of look and just to take a break from weaves, i opted for the popular Ghana weaving, this style here in Nigeria is called Fatia Balogun (funny hey), anyways, i'm so loving it - i never knew it'll come out this way cos my front hair. So, that's what i'll be looking like for the next couple of weeks - i hope you like it and also get to try. Omo, no brushing, no styling.....what more can a lazy girl like ask for! Lol! How do i look?

    1. Hey darling u were been partially constructive until the "ewwww" part, now back to ur "opinion"n jx so u know am not a blinded follower of sola I jx want to pass a message accross but before I do did u check d part on the home page dat stated "confession of a fashionista........"???? Lemme explain wah dat means; it simply means she wld be "sharing her style tips and what she sees fashion to be at her own will" now d question am gonna ask u is dis: do u know y designers av collections? I mean autumn, fall, summer et all; if u can sucessfully answer this Q's den u had know it aint easy been a blogger...
All we can do is encourage bloggers and if u fink dey not giving enuf stories den send dem stories or whateva u fink is fashion worthy and who knows she might make u her "contributing editor"....all am saying is u can pass ur message accross in a very polite way and not "ewwing" cos I fail to see anyfin disgusting on here#take it or leave it*hugs*
And sola keep up ur work remember d saying "Less is more" it is already paying off for u and d best is yet to come. Luv u loads darling*kisses*

    2. Hello Yudy, This is SolaDunn. I must say am quite disappointed with your comment knowing you are an ardent visitor of this blog. I could have chosen not to upload it cos i don't encourage spiteful and uncouth contributions - that is because i feel it encourages 'bully' which is the most common means of 'abuse' these days. This isn't the first time you've written this way neither. Don't misconstrue me, i appreciate corrections and i apologize in an instant for any fault on my part - to some blog visitors, i even take to personal emails and phone calls. However, your comment's' cuts-across more as attacks rather than corrections so i fell i should address it once and forall since you've been hammering on it. You see dear, i love and appreciate everyone that takes time to click let alone drop a comment on this blog. To them (whom you referred to as supporters), i owe the history and continued success so far. I started this blog to express my passion for fashion and also to foster interactions amongst fashions lovers and YES, that includes blogging about myself! What is so wrong about that if I might ask? The most successful bloggers (irrespective of their fields - Claire Sulmers, Linda Ikeji, ....) all blog about themselves - it simply means, practice what you preach! All the time, i get emails from visitors, asking me to put up things about myself and here you are complaining about that. You see now child, one cannot satisfy the world. As for the 'one post a day', am sure my fabulous readers appreciate the content of my posts. I take my time to carefully research and articulate everything I put up - i'd rather do a well constructed post and have people get the message rather than put up posts for the sake of it - that is PROFFESSIONALISM. If you aren't okay with my approach to blogging, am sure you know the decision you have to make and i wish you well with that as well!

To all my fabulous readers, don't be intimidated by anyone. I thank you for your continued support and please do not stop. I owe everything to you! Your visits and contributions are the 'only' things that keeps me going not adverts nor bully. That's why i'll never call you fans but friends. May God bless and reward you. xoxo, SolaDunn!

P.S - am working as hard as possible to revive the blog, there are some technical issues that's making things bunkaz at the moment. Please bear with me.

    3. Dear Sola,I must admit that I probably should not have used that word 'ewwww' but, believe me or not I wish u well, and it pains me when ppl I look up to, unknowingly fail me.All I want is to give u that 'push' that we all need in our lives.I bet u,my boss&my eldest sister do that to me too&believe me m more improved than ever.Talki it isnt ng about Linda, she posts stuffs bout herself only when she wants to encourage hers readers,or her birthday,or vacation.I guess that bad to post about urself, but, too much of it,thats what I was complaining bout.S'all good,I will always wish u well, cos,it aint easy tryna make it in life.Remember.......that lil 'push' is what we all need in life. All the best, cheers.
