Biggest red carpet trends of 2014!

Hey guys, hope ya'll having a lovely day. Still referencing the very eventful 2014, how about we run through some highly memorable trends that made exception appearances on red carpets through the year by our favorite celebrities. From Sheer to sequin, the infamous cropped top to our very own oleku, here they are. This kind sheerness above though! Lol! 

Lace/Sheer/See through -

Sheer - unfortunately, this was a huge flop on the red carpets as no one was able to pull it off appropriately. 

Sequin - 

Ok, this was by far my favorite from 2014. Annie and Funke were perfection in their individual pieces. 

Cropped top and matching skirts -

the all time 90's tend yet again reigns supreme both on the local and international fashion scene. Thumbs up Ebube and the likes for making skin baring tasteful. 

The Knot - 

I would have said this trend has been over played as well however, if a simple knot is gonna save a fashion lover on her chubby day, why not? #winks! 

Royal Blue - 

Just a quick cue for all ya'll fashionista's, if you're ever in doubt wear blue! Usually it's black but royal blue is gradually becoming a wardrobe staple. Well complimentary with every skin tone and eye catching! I mean, If Emma Nyra could finally look good in something, I think worth the Refrence hey! Lol!

and ofcos, the PEPLUM -

Peplum - Arggghhh!!! Toke wouldn't just let this trend die. I've always said the peplum isn't one of my most favorite trends and I just wish it'll go away already *rolling eyes* however it works for Toke and these other gorgeous ladies. Do you think the peplum is overplayed in fashion?  Yes or No?
