Looking like a bag of money, Jessica Alba combines the 50's with class during fashion week. Wearing two of falls hottest trends - full skirts and sweats shirts, she stepped out every inch sophisticated in this ensemble! Am gaga for this look, how about you?

Mint green - fashions IT color!

It was one of the biggest and brightest hue from last year - atleast that was when i got rocking in it. It was everywhere in Hollywood especially in blazers.......but just as they say, fashion is all about rejuvenation and comebacks - Khloe Karashian, Emma Roberts, Leann Rimes and Riri prove that just recently when they were spotted rocking the minty shade in style (below) just a while back. So, if you have it buried in your closets, its time to pull it out and if you are yet to get in the trend, here's why.........

Fashion Focus - Designer, Stella Jean Spring/Summer 2014 collection!

Designer Stella jean is infamous for her use of prints and in her spring/summer 2014 collection she exhibited quite an eyeful. Her designs features bold stripes, florals, full skirts (one of the biggest trends) with intricate cuts and ofcos lots of prints. The styling is amazingly beautiful as a lot of African fabrics were paired with contemporary materials and massive accessories. Have a look and at her runway collection below.

Did Tiwa Savage steal a fashion clue from Kim Kardashian?

Ermmm, maybe! Lol! Both rocking the same Christian Louboutin Cap toe pumps (love that stiletto to death BTW), same color of apparel (neon pink) but in different forms. Fabulous mama Kim Kadarshian wore hers as a wrap skirt/blouse while pregnant on vacation to Brazil earlier this year, Miss Kelekele Tiwa Savage wore hers as a ruffled dress just a few days ago at the Elite model finale. I must confess, immediately i saw Tiwa's outfit, my fashion senses triggered immediately back to Kim because i loved this ensemble on her then (one of my best pregnancy looks on her). So, do you think Tiwa stole a clue from Kim, yes or no? Regardless of your answer, who's ensemble are you loving most?

Keri Washington look - Hit or Miss?

We know actress Keri Washington to be the best dressed woman in the world but for the first time, this look got me questioning. Yes, plaid and somewhat Gingham patterns is a huge trend for the new season but wearing it head to toe isn't such a good idea. Keri wore this shirt collar, ruffy bottom dress to the Scandal premiere last night and unquestionably, not one of my best looks on her. I loved the fact that she took a risk but ermmm not quite the best of risks for. What go you think? Was it a hit or a miss for you?

P.S - i may be slow on bloggin activities over the weekend, a few loved ones were involved in the plane crash so things are a bit overwhelming for now.

The PLAID trend - would you wear?

Its one of the biggest trends of the new season, its everywhere, in every color, pattern, its PLAID! Plaid is a one design i really don't think goes out of fashion however right (atleast for me). Though the trend simmered down from a couple of years ago . Now, its back with major designers showcasing it on runways for their 2014 collection from New York to even Paris fashion week. Ermmm yeah she did! What that translates to as celebrities........ you be the judge! Miss kelekele 'Tiwa Savage' wore the cute dress by Bridget Awosika from way back January 2012 while OAP 'Toke Makinwa' wore hers just a couple of weeks ago at the Glam report TV launch. What do you think of both looks? Who wore it better? and would you wear a dress someone else actually wore years back? what does that imply as in celebrity fashion? I'd love to hear from you. It was inspired by your write-up on how to pair prints pants...what do you think? Keep up the good work!" Personally, i was so distracted by her beautiful face, i checked out the outfit second, Lol! You can't overlook that smile, lailai! Again Oluwabunmi, you look fantastic and i love your confidence - perfect ensemble for a holiday (it was simple, effortless and creatively stylish). Style question - Nigerian celebrities Vs the Chanel lego bag!

Now this is the time where i'll express my yoruba swag and say 'LOBATAN' - First it was Genvieve Nnaji, Ini Edo, Sylvia Nduka and now Sikiratu Sindodo. Like seriously now guys.....what do you think about this? Everyone all of a sudden apparently wants to get their hands on this $10,000 (N1.6M) hand candy or in some cases the 8-25k version. BTW, do we have it blue/purple? I thought Karl Lagerfeld only retailed the bags in pink, yellow, red and green. Oh well, what do i know. Over to you guys, what do think about the sudden craze over the Chanel lego bag among Nigerian female celebrities?

Trend alert.......Pant Dresses!

I totally heart one of my fashion IT girl (Emma Watson) in this head to toes black pant dress ensemble - very high class, sophisticated and one of spring 2013 blockbuster trend. Just in case you didn't notice, it was a huge trend worn by more than 4 celebrities at the recent 2013 MET gala earlier this year and am thinking its one early 90's trend that would be making a massive comeback pretty soon.

Face-off.....Khloe Kardashian Vs Genevieve Nnaji in silk jumpsuit!

Am not a huge fan of this jumpsuit cos i think neither of them looks that good in it however someone has got to look better right! While Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji hung out with the girls in this check silk jumpsuit by Theory Daranda pairing it with a cute blue chain purse and lemon pointy toe stilettos, Reality star Khloe Kardashian wore hers while out and about completing the laid back look with one of her favorite foot wear, Zanotti laceup booties and a stunning Hermes hand candy. Kimye were out and about from fashion shows to all around Paris wearing......oh well, you see for yourselves. My opinion, i know its fashion week and as expected you're supposed to be a bit edgy/editorial and all but seriously Kim? I mean, kanye...we can deal but kimmy.......really? Lol! Even though Annie has spotted very few appearances with her baby bump, i envisage quite a lot of similarities in terms of pregnancy styles with that of reality star Kim Kardashian as time goes by. Just as this sexy preggos lacy frock both of them spotted - not exactly the same apparel but very similar. Who do you think looks better in theirs? Kim or Annie?

It all went down at the BET Hip-Hop awards this weekend and oh well, i wouldn't know what to make of the fashion, lol. As expected, stars turned up on the red carpet bring their style A-game on however............you decide how their looks appeal to you. Gbemi's all white ensemble....Hit or Miss???

OAP, Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi shared this picture of herself today wearing a rather interesting all white ensemble. She spotted a sleeveless white peplum top with matching 'short' shorts and purse. She accessorized with all gold from bracelet to neck-piece. Couldn't really get the shoes tho....but what do you think? Hit or Miss???

Nigerian Celebrities obsessed with yellow shirt dresses? we think so!

Finally, shirt dresses have found its way into Nigerian fashion (its about time) and as expected, fashion forward celebrities have spotted the sexy frock.....what do they all have in common? They are thinking bright, yes yellow seems to be their preferred color.  From left to right, Tonto Dike pairing her sexy cutout back yellow shirt dress with hot spiked stilettos (one of my best looks on her), Annie Idibia pairing her chiffon sleeveless shirt dress with some fierce ankle booties, Rita Dominic looks stunning in those ankle strap checkered pumps and miss Genevieve Nnaji keeps it casual in a Zara tunic. Big Brothers 'POLIKEM' matching outfits.......yay or nay???

Matchy matchy ensemble on couples is gradually becoming fashions 'in' thing - If David/Victoria Beckham and Justin/Jessica Timberlake are doing why not Polikem? Big brother's most loved couple Pokello and Helikem where both spotted in this matching all white and gold studded outfits. What do you think? Did they nail or missed on this one? BTW, i love their shoes......

OMG!!! Black indeed is beautiful! Checkout gorgeous Miss Sudan as she make it to top 10 at the Miss world 2013. Goodness, i had to share because i could just stare at that radiant black skin for days. She's so incredibly beautiful and i loooooove her dress! She's got one of the most divine skin tone i've ever seen in my life. As a matter of fact, one of the most beautiful woman i've ever laid my eyes upon. #STUNNING......... 

You loved it, i found it - Damilola Adegbite's mesh dress to the flower girl London premiere!

OMG!!! actress Damilola Adegbite is head to toe perfection in this ensemble! She totally wowed me with her fashion choice this time and i give it up to her. Shes got on two of the hottest colors this year - her super sexy mesh bodycon dress has got grey (love the detailing) and that burgundy stilettos are on fire. Am also loving the fact that she chose a full hair, the perfect touch of fun to calm down all that sexiness, phewww. Lol! My only concern though is that i don't think the outfit is appropriate for a premiere but nonetheless  the look is exquisite. What do you think? Brandy's new haircut - you like?

Hi blog fam! First lemme just say sowieeee for the prolonged absence. I had some serious technical issues with the blog and also its URL. I couldn't upload or do anything. SolaDunn in cornrows......my new look!

So after several years, i decided to take the big plunge and weave my hair. For a change of look and just to take a break from weaves, i opted for the popular Ghana weaving, this style here in Nigeria is called Fatia Balogun (funny hey), anyways, i'm so loving it - i never knew it'll come out this way cos my front hair. So, that's what i'll be looking like for the next couple of weeks - i hope you like it and also get to try. Omo, no brushing, no styling.....what more can a lazy girl like ask for! Lol!
