There's Kris Jenner (50's), Jenifer Lopez (40's) and Kim Kardashian (30's) all spotted last week looking very chic in their individual ensemble - who looked best? Personally, i vote Kris' look - very chic and sophisticated. I however wish she had worn an appropriate bra, those girls need some serious support. Lol! Whose look is your favorite?

Now this is what i want Funlola looking like. Show something! Show skin gracefully! I totally criticized her red carpet look during the show here because she was way too covered up as a young beautiful woman with such amazing bod. She spotted this look during the AMVCA pre-party BTW. It is lovely sleeveless coral jumpsuit styled with large hoop earrings, statement bracelet and a bright green envelop clutch - i heart her afro too. Super Model/entrepreneur Heidi Klum wore her version of the gorgeous one shouldered embellished high slit white dress by Alexandre Vaulthier to the Golden Globes last year while Nigerian actress Mercy Aigbe wore hers just a few weeks back during the AMVCA. Going by the infamous words of the latest IT girl in fashion Lupita Nyong'o at the 2014 Oscars  - ''No matter where you're from, your dreams are valid'' right! Well, i kinda wanna rephrase that a bit and state - No matter how bald you are, you can always rock a head band like nobody's business. Lol! We all know Lupita never gets it wrong with fashion but whats more is that she never gets it wrong with hair (very understated). The dark skinned Kenyan beauty has proven beyond reasonable doubt that you don't need weaves to be beautiful and glamorous. After studying some of her fabulous looks, i've come up with two easy tricks to pulling off her lovely head pieces, which are:

You can actually wear a cropped top without showing skin!

It is the latest creation from Karl Lagerfeld (Chanel) and already fabulous women in the industry have been spotting it (Rihanna and Keira Knightley). The somewhat illusion apparel features a loose fit top over a more fitted matching dress shrunken at the waist area - this in effect creates a thinner waist, wider upper and lower half. Would you wear? and what do you think about the creation?

Best and Worst dressed from the AMVCA 2014! My thoughts!

One of the most prestigious movie awards in Africa ' The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards' went down yesterday and ofcos it was a night of glitz and glamor. Stars turned up in gorgeous designer dresses as expected but who looked perfect and who looked pathetic? Aside from red being the color of the night, here are my best and worst looks from the event. First up, the breathe taking Kate Henshaw - i am so distracted by her gorgeous hair and makeup, i don't even want to talk about the dress even though i think it was a lovely choice. She's spotted the wrap pants a couple of times by now. Her's specifically by Ejiro Amos Tafiri but would you consider trying this? Personally, i don't think i'd mind. My only concern though is, how does the behind look? Hmmmm........ Regardless, its a very stylish design (thumbs up to the designer) finally, a different approach to the regular pant.
