Well i was! Lol! Ok, first, for the obvious, i'm never an advocate of makeup (that goes without saying full faced 'painting') on kids and secondly because her mom (Ibinabo Fiberesima) chose this of all pic to celebrate her daughter (Zino's) 7th birthday  meaning it was intentional. Probably the idea was to be funny and all but personally, i was freaked out about a kid wearing a 'full faced' makeup. I can understand how playful mummy-daughter moments are but its definitely not a pic you'd want to use in wishing your daughter a happy birthday particularly as a celebrity. In a very sensitive world where we try to encourage self confidence particularly for young girls, i just don't think kids should be made to understand 'makeup' makes them look beautiful especially at such a tender age. We should just let kids be cute like that....with the kinky hair, braces, shoes worn cross-wise and stuff. Maybe its just me but i'd love to have your opinion. Her mum later put up a more appropriate pic of her gorgeous daughter (below).

Surprisingly it just occurred to me these two share a striking resemblance yesterday. British singer and X-factor winner, Alexandra Burke (L) and Nigerian Actress, Dakore Akande (R). Don't you think?

The vivacious actress looked stunning in this instagrammed pictures where she spotted some seriously bright orange lips. Seem the vibrant color is making a comeback and i'm definitely loving it. Well, what do you know - people are talking again! Over the years reality star kim kardashian have been rumored to have series of plastic surgeries done particularly on her face (nose). Now, just a few months after child birth, tongues have started to wag - reportedly shes gone under the knife again so i want you guys to have a look a few before and after pictures of her. I think shes a beautiful woman regardless but while we've got some pretty good cosmetic surgeons in the US, highlights and contouring could get a lot of magic done too. So what do you think?

Ermmmm, maybe not for an everyday look but we can't deny the fact that blue lipsticks makes a bold statement. We've seen fashion risk takers like Teyena Taylor, Amber Rose, Kesha, Ashanti and most recently Rihanna spotting the daring lip shade. Personally, i don't think am that bold to take such a huge plunge but looking at these ladies, its not so dramatic afterall. Share your makeup errors and corrections!

Oh dear! Why ladies? I have such a bittersweet feeling about this picture. Am so happy cos one of my most beautiful Nigerian woman 'Waje' is celebrating her birthday but this picture is just ..........! Which brings us to the question, why does your face look plastic particularly with night time pictures? I know the camera flash must have added to this but also their makeup contributed a great deal. I can clearly see Waje's contour and highlights particularly at the bridge of her nose. Speaking for myself now, i think their 'foundation' caused it!

SPANX - Every woman's best friend!

Have you ever wonder if you need one or rather why you need one? Most people and society attach the undergarment 'spanx' to plus sized women but am telling today that everyone - (big or small), what ever body type needs a spanx (so far you've got boobs, lol). Spanx are undergarment generally worn by women and a few men. They are mostly worn to serve as underwear, girdle, body enhancers and other purposes depending on what the wearer is set-out to achieve. In fashion. Spanxs are the most important and basic apparel to serve as foundation in other to make your clothing appear most flattering.

Things people do for beauty these days (fears God himself)..........eating of placenta, vampire facial and what not.......latest addition to the clan is the snail facial! I mean, this is so bizarre and weird, i don't want to even research about it however for the benefit of those of you who might be interested, it is a process whereby you let the snails crawl on your face and the slime it leaves is suppose to act as an anti-aging beauty booster! Question is, would you dare? My opinion, HELL NO! but am sure Kim Kardashian will be totally up for this........Lol!
