Face-off....Stella Vs Toolz

 

Originally designed by Stella McCartney (left) and worth over $1,000 and replicated by Aqua Gable costing just $40 (right) - the optical illusion dress has been Hollywood's favorite for a while now. A-list celebrities spotted wearing it includes the beautiful Kate Winslet, Alicia keys,  Kim Kardashian, Jenifer Hudson, Jane Fonda and a whole lot of others. Well, now our Nigerian celebrities are stating they are no push-overs in the fashion world.  Two drop dead gorgeous entertainers have been caught rocking the trend lately, it is Stella Damasus and Tolu Oniru on this one peeps.

Okay now, Back to Naija, 

To the left (below)  is Stella Damasus - she wore hers a couple of days back during her birthday celebration in Newyork, USA, the red and black frock was accessorized by a gold/leather belt, cuff bracelet, statement ring and neck piece. Meanwhile, the curvaceous OAP on the other end paired her version with a killer statement necklace during Iyanya's album launch last month.

 

Am sort of torn on this one guys. Am loving the length, ring and belt on Stella - i however wish she didn't wear the cuff bangle, hair and neck piece, it sort of overwhelms the overall look. Toolz on the other hand fills the dress better and achieved the purpose of an illusion dress (create curves, she's already got it BTW), also her statement necklace is  just breath taking but again - i think the dress is kind of too tight on her and it shortens her a bit.

Two amazing bodies i'd love to see it this dress are - Kate Henshaw in the shorter version and Adora Oleh in the longer version. What do you think?
