Trend alert - Culotte shorts! Would you rock?

Just when we had it with skin bearing lace and butt crack revealing shorts, the god of fashion finally decided to return sanity with relaxed Culotte shorts. If your are an edgy fashion lover and looking to experiment with one of the coolest trends this season, Culotte shorts are a must try! They are said to have been designed in the early 80's so as allow women the ease of ridding horses but all thanks to designers like Alexander Wang, Mulberry and Diane Von Furstenberg, the shorts have made its way back to modern fashion and even bagged one of the hottest trends of the season. 

Fashion forward celebrities that have spotted the trend includes Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jenifer Lawrence, Zendaya Coleman, Selita Ebanks, Lupita Nyongo, Jessica Alba and Vanessa Hudgens. To be honest, when these shorts started making rounds, i was not too sure about it and then, my fashion icon 'Posh' wore it and i'm like - yea, i could totally wear that! I'm such a sucker for posh's fashion, i'd rock whatever i see on her in an instant no matter how ridiculous it is. Lol!

Worn by women of all shaped and sizes, the culotte shorts trend is catching up fast. I particularly like it cos its easy. We could use a little room for our butt every now and then right. lol! To nail this trend, remember its all about proportions. Tall lean girls can go all the way with width and flats but if you are on the more curvy side and not so tall, stick to the not so flair cuts and rock them with heel so they don't stunt you.

Its relaxed, its loose, its edgy and breezy.....whats not not rock hey!
