Ditch the traditional one tone hair, go OMBRE!

Have you guys ever noticed Beyonce doesn't wears her hair in one color? Yes friends, she hardly does. The two toned look is called the OMBRE (some called sunbre). Any which way, it is a process whereby through coloring effects, a certain portion of your hair (either top or bottom) is lighter than the other. The ombre hair is quite versatile and could be worn in so many ways. Thanks to international celebrities like Beyonce, Khloe Kardashian, Rihanna, Ciara and the rest, the Tie n Dye hair  (Ombre) is proving to be ever trendy and timeless.

To keep the trend super 2013, go with special Ombre weave with slightly golden brown at the lower end. It is very sexy and has a more natural feel to it.

Because of the versatility of the Ombre, just in case you are the more cautious type and you are not too sure of how to mix it up, go for two different colors - keeping them slightly different from each other. Mix them up in between so you'll get the colors out in strands. Its more subtle. Its is also called the sunbre!

Beyonce rules the Ombre, she hardly wears her hair in just one color. What Beyonce usually does is color the weave lighter at the top while the darker end stays underneath. Be careful when going down this road tho, it works best when you are very light skinned.

A better choice when you are more dark skinned. Do a lighter color underneath while the darker color on top. The ombre can either go from top to bottom and vice versa. You are free to use any die of your choice however, i'd advice you seek professional advice so you don't damage your hair/weave.

International celebs rocking this trend includes the sexy Khloe Kardarshian, Hillary Duff, Sandra Bullock, Jessica Alba, Jlo, Anna Kendricks and a whole lot of others. It works with every and any skin tone provided you get the appropriate mixture.

You can also go all out and achieve a super dramatic look with the Ombre by choosing colors that are obviously contradictory. Only for the bold and fierce however!

It can be worn straight and silky

Or super sexy and curly either at the tips or mixed

The Ombre is not limited to just black and brown, you can go as far as spicing things up by mixing 3 or more colors up (like what we have below).  It can be worn in Purple, Burgundy, Wine....any way you choose. Christina tho, not too sure....lol!

The Ombre hair is very chic and is a very good way of ditching the traditional one way hair color without going too over the top.

How are you loving the trend guys? have you rocked it in the past or presently? Am wearing one at the moment too.  Am excited to have your thoughts. Remember, while coloring your hair/weave, see professional advice so you don't end up damaging them. Very soon, i'll write on how you can achieve a successful ombre coloring home style *winks* - it is super easy!

  8. Two toned hair is actually different from the ombre look.
The 'ombre' is a graduation of colour from the darkest part (the roots) to the lightest part (the tips) so you can have about 3 or even 4 shades for the ombre look while two tone colour is just two colours.
    Hope I helped :D
