Have you ever wonder if you need one or rather why you need one? Most people and society attach the undergarment 'spanx' to plus sized women but am telling today that everyone - (big or small), what ever body type needs a spanx (so far you've got boobs, lol). Spanx are undergarment generally worn by women and a few men. They are mostly worn to serve as underwear, girdle, body enhancers and other purposes depending on what the wearer is set-out to achieve. In fashion. Spanxs are the most important and basic apparel to serve as foundation in other to make your clothing appear most flattering.
Personally, I see spanx as the best investment a woman can put her money into. You can be sexy thin as Miranda Kerr or bold beautiful as Queen Latifa, you need a spanx.
Thankfully these days, they come in a wide range of designs to fit into every body type and apparel. They come as thong bottoms, mid-thigh, bodysuits or knee length to fit into dresses, pants and even jump/bodysuits.
When picking out spanx, here are a few things you should consider and be on the lookout for -
1. What apparel are you wearing (i.e - tube dress/top, bodysuit, e.t.c)
2. Make sure your spanx some with adjustable straps
2. Make sure its cotton and spandex ( for best comfort)
3. Stay away from all round Nylon fabrics. They could end up itching you.
4. Choose neutral and blacks. They are not only easier to maintain, they also match a wide variety of clothings.
Ever wondered how clothing fit so well on the likes of Kim Kardashian, Jlo, Beyonce and the rest......., that's kinda like the secret ladies *winks*. So next time, before you criticize and want to kill yourself for not looking drop dead gorgeous as some of these celebrities, remember - a lot of them wear it more than you can ever imagine *lol*
I mean, hey! even sexy Rihanna with one of the best toned bodies in the world wears one. Lol!
So ladies, I'd suggest when next you're out and about shopping, you grab yourself one or a couple of these body enhancers 'spanx' and get rocking. As a woman, its one of your best investments. Hey, am a size 8 and I wear one underneath my dresses everytime. Above all, remember to embrace your body and enjoy your body.

they usually come in small,medium ,large,X large,X X large.there is a label attach to it that compare dress size to either small,large and so on.(try and read the label on it and if possible try it on in fitting room before buying.)i hope this help.*gud luck *....mari

DeleteWell said Mari. It is very important and you try them before purchase. Don't go below or higher cos comfort is highly important. Only with apparels like jumpsuits or rompers that you can go a size higher due to the crotch. Also, always remember to check for the slimming level!

DeleteI have one that i bought at Marks and Spencer in London but it doesn't grip me well and someone told me that i bought a body shape and not a spanx. Please, any difference?
